m class sat nav help PLEASE!!!!!!

My car is a 2008 reg. Try as i might, even after reading the heavy manual, i cannot get distance and jny time to destination on the sat nav. I can get altitude, latitude and longitude settings and even the number of satelites i am tuned into and the degree of the bloody tire direction. Can someone help me or is it true that the simple things like distance and time are just not possible to get??!!?! :mad

On mine you get it by pressing the top left screen button labelled info. But I have never managed to get it on the map screen. I have the DVD one not the newer hard drive version with the sd card.

I've got a 2005 E Class with DVD COMAND

On mine you first press the lowest button on the left hand side of the screen.

This then puts a series of options on the screen. The uppermost left option is "info". On mine I select the button next to this and voila the remaining distance and time to destination appear on screen.

It's well hidden - it took me several months to find it. That and learning how to adjust clock.....
