Opinions on C180K Auto

Hello all,

I am looking for a car for the Mrs as we have another baby on the way. Was considering BMW E46 3 series but i prefer the look and feel of the C class.

I am looking at this car in particular...

She is coming from a 5 door 150bhp Golf TDi manual.

Is the 180 kompressor unit any good? Will the auto kill any performance? I dont expect it to feel as punchy as the Golf but some performance would be nice!

Any opinions on these cars would be much appreciated.

You might get a better response over on the MBClub forum. Does seem a lot of car for the money though.
