Been googling without much success.

Any decent after market tuners for Merc's in UK can fit LSD's, brake upgrades and a bit of engine tuning (not that it needs it).

It all depends on how old your Mercedes is. Also, what model are you looking to tune?

If it's relatively modern, then all the major tuners will have upgrade programmes for it. If it's older, then you may be out of luck.

Brabus, Carlsson, Lorinser and Kleemann all have UK agents, but as for UK originated tuners, there aren't any major ones.

As already mentioned, MKB are highly regarded although not often recommended as some don't know about them!

If it's purely LSD and brake upgrades, to what level would you like to upgrade the latter?
Quaife are in the UK and do have a range of LSDs for Merc,s past and present.
If the brake upgrades consist of pads, discs and brake hoses, then Ebay often have an enormous range for all models and any age of Merc, from various manufacturers.
If you're after complete brakes upgrades, then Alcon, AP Racing and Brembo all have products (and UK agents) for various modern and older Mercedes.

Without specific model information, all I, and other PHers, can do is offer very general information smile

I've recently got in contact with Quaife and they will do a group buy for 5 lsds fitted (at a very attractive price). I was going to initiate the interest in the new year as I thought Christmas may not be the best period to get one of these going....

Thoughts?

Thanks for responses.

Was thinking about modern cars, in particular C63 saloon/estate.

If you haven't purchased one already, maybe hunt out a C63 with Performance Package Plus and the LSD option.
The official power is somewhere around 480bhp, but many cars put on the rolling roads actually produce around 500bhp.

If you're budget won't stretch to a later PPP car, you can get an earlier one with Performance Pack (this I believe inlcuded the LSD as part of the package, unlike with PPP). You'll also have the standard power of the C63.

However all the aforementioned tuners do performance packages for the C63. The standard brakes on a C63 are good, but again the tuners can sort out upgrades for you. It depends on the depth of your wallet smile

Brabus would be the safe bet, as it won't affect any Mercedes warranty existing on the car you buy. The upgrades can also be fitted by a Mercedes main dealer.
