can you check brake pad wear on the C63 ?

Without removing the wheels? The pad low light isn't lit yet but based on the previous year's 65% wear indication on all 4 wheels, I might need to change them. Dealer quoted 880 pounds for a B service (including transmission fluid change, diff lock fluid change, pollen filter) and 500 pounds for P030 brake pads all round since I have the performance pack..

First I have to verify if the brakes are indeed worn, .....

Not sure about checking pad wear, but I had my PPP / Drivers Pack C63 service a couple of weeks ago which included getting the gearbox ECU reflashed and it came to £424. I didn't get the trannie fluid or diff lock fluid changed but they checked levels for me. Pollen filter is standard in the B service.

My pads came back as 40% wear on fronts and 50% on rear. The car has done 25,000 miles of fairly brisk driving so will be changing pads in the next couple of months.

ha I had 65% wear all round on the pads when it was checked 1 year ago. Car has 27,500 miles and is driven by the missus. She only put 4,000 miles on it the past year.

tranny oil, and LSD oil will be needed after 3+ years

Gearbox re-flashed? is that a recall? mine is a 2009 PP car. I haven't had any gearbox reflashes

I asked for it. I have found that when reversing and then slipping into Drive, there is a second of hesitation before the car lurched forward.

I asked them to reflash it and they confirmed I had 'old' software in the gearbox ECU. They reflashed it with newer software.

However, it hasn't cured the lurching on selcting Drive from reverse though..
