Ageing battery. Any recommends please?
Discussion
5 year old battery showing signs of old age, requires trickle charger after 3 days in garage. I would be grateful if anyone can recommend where i can get a new replacement from without breaking the bank?
I have checked with MBZ who want £130 (fitting extra!!) and other well known accessories outlets, but i wish to find a reasonably priced battery that will last. Cheers.

They are Varta batteries so no need for dealer.
Search here and then look for the battery on eBay and various battery sites online. I got a recent battery for my DB9 for £69 and it was a Varta. Also changed one in the SLK32 and that was a Varta. Very good quality and infact there are a range of types which have different strengths depending upon your needs.
Not used them but they have a good search facility http://www.performancebatteries.co.uk price includes delivery and fitting is easy.
