W124 230 four cylinder engine question

Hi guys, Ive got a quick one, which one of you out there will have the answer to.
Ive got a 1993 230CE with the fourt cylinder engine.
Bit wheezy on the Mway, but fine for swooping around in.
The temp guage is not registering, and the electric fan isn't switching on.
Where is the temperature sender unit for the instruments.
I know its up on the top of the head, but which one.
Any pointers will be great.
