High mileage C63
Discussion
It depends what price it is up for relative to the other cars with sensible mileage versus age.
You would only be interested in a car such as a C63 with mega miles if the price was drastically lower than others.
If you buy cheap, you will probably also sell it cheap - could be difficult to shift once the mileage increases - but it will sell at the right price.....

Provided any car has been services frequently and it's overall condition is good then milage is not an issue.
Clearly you will pay less for higher milage the reason being drive train parts bushes shocks springs etc all have more wear and will need replacing sooner.
Also there is a point when an engine needs a rebuild though with modern cars that could easily be well into the 500k miles maybe a huge amount more provided it's ben serviced properly and of course not driven hard when stone cold or low on oil etc.

Thanks again. Yes the mileage has been factored in the price. I agree that certain parts will need to be changed sooner compared to a "fresher" car, but if the servicing intervals have been respected and done correctly, which I assume it has as the dealer knows the car, and if it hasn't been thrashed when cold, it could be a good bargain. Also with a 12 month guarantee and Star inspection, that should also be a good point it it's favor.

It depends how much cheaper. As highlighted clutch dampers springs gearbox bushes are much mote worn is the car cheaper by the cost of those replacement parts???
None of those items are standard service items they are changed when worn out.
I see a few popping up for sale over here with big miles on the clock Here's one is closing in on 200,000kms..

also think how many miles you're going to do a year yourself. If you're a low mileage driver and/or this is a weekend toy, by the time you sell it, it could come back into line with others, at which point you've probably done very well
By which age the car condition and history of what jobs have been done recently are more relevant. Values would be similar/same ball park. Anyway this thread is about high mile cars to me that's 150k plus of which I have purchased two cars with greater than that on the clock one lasted three years and was still going really well when we changed it the other we still own.
