c63 ordered

I ordered a c63...but am wondering about the wheel options...18 or 19.....the ride on the 19" shod cars I tested was as harsh as any road car I ever drove ...including early runflat BMWs....
Has anyone any experience of the 18s are they any better?

Re the wheels, yep I thought the same, in Comfort I thought it was underdamped but in Sport Mode I thought it was more controlled, firmer but less crashy......would also be interested to hear other people's opinions

I've just ordered one on 19s.On a test I thought that the ride was fine,but I am used to an Abarth SS which makes a runflat shod BMW seem like a Jag XJ.

I must admit that the look of the black 19s seduced me to order them.

What colour/spec and what's the opinion on the LSD, some say it's a must but i'm not sure if it's worth the extra on a road car?

I've gone for magnetite black/black leather/black 19s/privacy glass.no other options so abot as standard asthey come.Its due in june.

There's one in the same colours on as a demo in Mercedes Bristol.

No lsd/pp as I couldn't justify the cost,and I'm a bit mean anyway!

p.s. looks like there'll be at least 2 in south wales.

Sounds good, mine is also due in June if i commit tomorrow (depending on who you listed to!), tempted to go Fire Opal with black wheels....sent you an email btw

Ordered silver and black with lsd...i am a bit of a drift addict....and dab coz I listen to 5 live almost exclusively. Delivery early may....(hopefully) on a 2 year lease...
Think I might be able to change spec for a day or 2 hence 18 or 19 question.....

Glad it's not white, looking on the AUC 50% of cars are white, the rest are black wth the odd red or silver............which colour silver, i'm torn between the 2 Silver's and Fire Opal, I am going to go with the 19's because I think they do look alot better but not sure on the LSD, i've only driven the car once and admittedly there was snow on the ground, but it went sideways very easily, wihtout a LSD I think it could be a handful!

Just finished the test drive in the Saloon and jesuuuussss its loud and quick!!

Am working on getting some additional "add ons" from the dealer as a pick me up as this is the first time they are out against the likes of the M3 Coupe and so they want to sell the cars....

Just taken on a C63 with 19's and moved on my 335Ci with 19" run flats, also moved on my 911 on 19". The C63 ride on 19" is fine in my opinion and a lot less crashy than the BM and I'd say slighty softer than the 911 which never gave me any issues.

Ordered today, Coupe in Fire Opal, 19" wheels, Stereo upgrade, Reversing camera, LSD, Privacy glass and telephone pre wire.....very excited

Taff when does it arrive? Local dealer seems to be pushing supply ASAP for my model. I've gone for black/black/black and privacy glass! Nothing else as spec is high and only really wanted performance stuff. Have an ML and got lots of toys.

My dealer saying end march!! Putting them off until end April though

When did you order yours then if it's march delivery? I'm being told June for mine but i'm hoping for sooner, very bored of my current diesel barge, i doubt the C63 can carry 200L of fuel and 8 wheels though!

I actually place my order tomorrow morning.
They have a list of cars that have been pre built - given I am staying close to standard spec assume that's the reason.
Spec is as follows

Magnetite black
Black leather
Black Matt 19" alloys
Privacy glass

That's it!

Got a great deal though....

I'll join this thread having ordered my C63 today too.

Spec-wise I've kept it standard (even those lovely 5 spoke 18"s). I've ordered the Wagon (estate) in palladium silver with the two-tone red/black leather.

I've been told June for delivery too.

Hi would be very grateful if you could tell me which dealer this is from and maybe pass me on a number of the sales agent you are dealing with?

I have called a few MB dealers, all are quoting me way over the advertised deal for even a base car, not really sure what is going on.

I need some serious help to close a finance deal on one of these, have never taken car finance before so feel like every dealer is taking me for a mug.

If someone can point me in the right direction or dealer I would be ever so grateful.
