E63 estate

Local dealer has 2006/56 E63 estate up for sale, been to see it twice now and quite tempted as something to replace our X5. Good condition, low mileage and dealer warranty all good.

I have searched the net and most results for E63 come up with the newer model, as what I was after was the original options list so that I can see what is / isn't spec'd on this particular actual car.

In particular, was the radar thing (distronic?) standard - and if it has the black plastic in the grill, is this something that it definitely has?

It has a screen inbetween the seats facing rear passengers, factory fitted. The girl at the dealership thought it just played DVD's through dash but wasn't sure. Any ideas? Was TV tuner an option (as we have in X5)? If so will it be rendered useless with switch to digital? Or is it a control panel for COMAND?

Lastly, I have read on the net that there was a performance pack available around that time. What did this include? Is there anything visible that would indicate whether this car has it?

Oh, one last thing, do MB dealers have any discretion to add to the standard MB 1 year used car warranty? 2 years would be nice and make the deal that much more tempting.....

Do you know the VIN number? If so, then its relatively easy to find the options fitted to the car, either from some dodgy russian websites, or PM it for me and I will look it up (members of the Mercedes Benz Club get access to various online resources :-) )

No VIN at the moment, I will try and get it as well as the full spec sheet.

It does list this on the dealers site (and I have answered one of my own Q's as it does list distronic), but what I was really after was what was an option but wasn't spec'd.

I have a 2006 E63 with a factory fitted screen between the rear seats. This plays both TV and DVD and has a remote control and two sets of supplied ear phones in the rear. It operate seperately from the front screen or in tandom.
