As I am not possessed of a gap measurer and am not exactly sure what the gap should be, any ideas? I assume about 1-1.5mm, which is roughly how they come out the box and how the old ones were?

According to my Autodata, Bosch W7DCO or Champion N9YCC at 0.8mm gap.

This is correct according to the engine manual I have. Don't use platinum plugs if replacing, standard copper are fine.
