S Class Suspension, lower at rear passenger side??

I've recently bought a 2009 S Class with 9,400 miles on the clock, it is in 'as new' condition and the previous owner tells me he's never taken it out in the rain!!

However, I noticed yesterday that the rear passenger side corner seems to be lower, particularly when sitting in my drive, making the wheel arch appear very close to the tyre.... Any ideas what this could be??

Meh, they sit where they feel like to be honest. My S65 seems to decide this day on day. Been like this all the way back to the W109, my previous S320 did the same thing. My Disco does the same thing with it's air suspension too. I wouldn't be too concerned but if you're worried drop it into your local dealer for a checkup.

Hi Allister, to check your suspension is even, find a Totally flat piece or ground,then with the engine running, then check each wheel arch to tyre.
If still down at the corner have it checked by Merc.

You say your car is a 2009 registered car so it may still be under warranty. If it is then do as suggested & if there is a problem i'd suggest you take it back to the dealer & get them to investigate & sort it out. It could just be a case the vehicles suspension requires recalibrating which usually has to be carried out on the steering geometry ramp & then taking various readings each corner under the vehicle & then inputting them into the suspensions control module mnemory once the vehicle is level.

We have a mint condition ML (edition 10). Had a similar problem where the car almost looked uneven and tilted to the passenger side. Turns out a suspension "bag" had punctured causing a leak. Warranty item from Merc.
