I am currently looking at a 2009+ CLS 320 /350 CDI and have been keeping a close eye on dealers stock and prices. It does appear that cars seem to sit around for some time before selling, also noticed that prices seem to be dropping almost on a weekly basis
Are facelift CLS not selling at the moment.?

Ive been watching new shape E AMG's particuallry the estates and noticed a similar thing. Two months ago there were a handfull of E estates AMG now the same ones are still there but joined by another new 6. Making about 12 at the moment. These seem to be sitting there for quite some time and have started to be reduced, one in particular by £3k to get to be the lowest priced and I would imagine the others will follow suit. I think these are ex demo/press/MB cars coming up for sale after 1 year/ 1.5 yrs. The E saloon I think has been out longer and hence more cars available and subsequent lower prices by a considerable margin. Hopefully in a few months E AMG estates will also be considerably lower as they filter on the MB market.
I can only assume with the CLS that is the same. Hopefully you will see dealers jocking their cars prices down to make them more attractive compared the the others coming onto the market.
