SLK 320 What oil to use ?

Just bought a 2003 SLK 320 though haven't taken delivery so haven't read the drivers handbook yet, but like to getb thses things out of the way. What oil should I use ? I live in Australia....can get a little hot here....I use Castrol Edge 5W-30 in my Jaguar....would this be suitable ? Any advice ?
