CLK Convertibles-opinions pse?
Discussion
Hello all, the wife is after a 'new' car and she likes the Mercedes CLK convertibles (2003 onward shape) now I have not looked at them seriously before but they seem like very good value for money at the moment, so what are peoples opinions on something like this:

It will not be used a long commuter so the MPG is not that great a worry I suppose!
Thanks

HI,
My wife has driven a 350clk vert for the past year, and so far it has been faultless.
she has a 2005 350amg with 67k,in the same colour scheme as the one you have shown,i looked at quite a few clk's and when i found the amg one i bought there and then,i think the car really stands out from the standard versions
30mpg combined, easy to drive(the 7 speed box is a joy) and servicing costs have been less than expected, rear tyres can be a little expensive and as the car is pretty quick brake wear is heavy although this could be due to my wife's driving style!
i would buy her another one tomorrow ,(if only to keep her away from my c63)
good luck
chris
