Extended sun visor for CLK Convertible.

We don't get that many really sunny days, but when we do, like now, and the hood is down, I have a problem with glare. The sun is too high for the visor or bodywork, and is just in your eyes all the time. I need a fitting which will extend the length of the visor in it's closed position. Maybe something that slips over the existing visor? Any ideas anyone?
