2003 C220 occasionally looses all power

Recently my C220 diesel occasional completely looses power and almost goes into a limp mode, no lights up but really struggles to go up hill, maintains speed on the flat and motorway speeds but acceleration is leisurely to say the least.

If I turn the car off and straight back on it starts and drives fine.

Just wondering if anyone knew of any common problems.

hi,these are prone to split turbo hose's, check the condition throughout,the dealer replacement one's are made of a different rubber compound and not so prone to splitting.hth.
