C36 AMG, Auto to manual?

As per the heading, I really like my C36, but I would like to have a manual version.


I have the bits from a W124 3.2-24, so I have to ask the question.

Would it be sacrilege converting my C36 to manual, or would it make the car it should always have been?

Certainly not sacrilege , but bear in mind the M104 engined cars fitted with manuals were slower and used more fuel!

I hope you hve a decent clutch plate upgrade in mind too ; the modifed engine has much more twist than the M104 320 unit too . Good luck though , may be an interesting project
