Blue smoke on start up - C63

I seem to remember this being covered before but I can't find the thread so forgive if dupicated.
It happens on the SECOND cold start up, for example - if I take it out of the garage and park on the drive, all is ok. But when I come to leave (perhaps 5 mins later) a big cloud of blue smoke appears when started again. Is this usual? Any thoughts before I speak to my dealer would be appreciated.
btw, its the latest model, 2011 8,000 miles and no oil consumption as yet.

A Google search brings up mixed results on blue smoke. Some saying it's perfectly normal, some saying blue smoke = oil = worries. I wouldn't worry personally, especially if it quickly disappears. But, I would make a cup of tea and spend 30 mins reading through internet, then if not satisfied, book it into the dealers. I would also try and book it into an AMG franchised Merc dealer if poss.
I have had it happen a couple of times. Only been when I have moved the car out of the garage and turned engine off quickly. Then once starting again it puffs but the smoke goes very quickly.
Thinking its more likely to be fuel related rather than oil? starting from cold then turning off again within seconds would dump a load of fuel into the injection systems without it having time to burn wouldn't it? i am no mechanic (could you guess) so this was my thought.
How old is it? Mileage?
A big cloud of blue smoke on start up doesn't sound right to me, and blue would certainly indicate oil. If it was oil draining into the cylinders, you would normally expect it to produce blue smoke on initial start, but I assume, from your post, that it doesn't.
Starting the car up from cold and then turning it off shortly afterwards, ie if just driving it out of a garage, isn't really good for it, despite modern injection systems etc.. It can cause problems with the cat. and the fuelling.
Ideally, the car would benefit from a cold start and then being driven normally until it's warm.
Does it also produce a cloud of smoke if you start it from cold and then wait until it's warmed up before turning it off and re-starting? If it doesn't, you might not have an issue, if it does, I'd be inclined to get someone to look at it.
