Details on Spec's Available, specificall W164 MLs

Hi,

Does anyone know of a site that would give a list of what options are available on cars and how much they cost at the time?

Specifically, I'm keen to know what options were avaialble on MLs around 2006-2008. Google gives me mostly US stuff

I have nearly every option on my ML63, the only things missing are the heated steering wheel which i'm not sure was an option anyway over here...

I'm looking to buy an ML (W164) for my wife, does anyone know when the last facelift was applied to this UK model, 2009 I believe? So would all ML 280/320 from '59 plate onwards have the updated kit?

Also were the model designations changed to ML 300 / 350 CDI's at the same time or did that happen later on?

I know the external changes were minimal, but is there anything externally or internally that sets the pre/post facelift cars apart?

Getting conflicting info from various sources...

It was indeed 2009 although you'll get 2009 models in 2008..

The main changes i can remember are....

Yes they were.. Ive just put a 2010 ML63 steering wheel on my 2007 model

Now spoken to two dealers and MB themselves and none of them have been able to confirm the actual date, however the facelifted model "allegedly" included the following:

• All-new front-end design with prominent horizontal lines
• New radiator grille with three black louvres and chrome highlights (available in sterling silver look with chrome highlights as an option in the exterior sports package)
• New-look projection-beam headlamps
• New exterior mirrors with larger mirror surfaces
• New rear bumper
• Tail lights with darkened lenses

(LED tail lights with clear-glass look as an option)

• Twin exhaust system with oval tailpipes (rectangular chromed tailpipes in the exterior sports package as an option, standard for V8)
• Roof rails included in standard specification
• Chrome trim strip in the rub strips (optional in the exterior sports package, standard for V8)
• Waistline trim strip in chrome (optional in the exterior sports package, standard for V8)
• Load sill guard on the rear bumper in chrome (optional in the exterior sports package, standard for V8)
• Exterior sports package with new, enhanced features such as aluminium-look roof rails

Interior design

• Leather-trimmed dashboard in nappa leather or ARTICO man-made leather

Love keyless - had that on a CLS a while back. How does it work on the ML, is the start button on the gear selector?

Re the facelift, as above, I think it was late 2008, so 58 plates on. I'd imagine there are a few 09 non facelift cars about.

OK, thanks. I only wondered as the CLS has a conventional gearlever so had the button on the top. The above is similar to how BMWs 'comfort access' works.
