C-class AMG 63 - chassis modifications?
Discussion
Evening All,
Search seems to be off, so sorry if there are other threads on this.
I quite like the C63 but from what I read and people I speak to dynamically the M3 has the edge, and obviously I saw the Top Gear stuff (taken with a pinch of salt) that the handeling can be quite side ways and a bit mental.
Just wondered if anyone had fitted a LSD and new suspension at all.
Don't know much about Merc tuners but I noted AMD have a few bits:

Interested to hear thoughts / opinions and experience.
Cheers,

There's nothing there that I would stick on my car, if you want a LSD get the factory option, if you want a remaap then there are much better than AMD for this, re the suspension, the car is heavier than the M3 and the chassis IMO is not as good, these cars are not designed for track use, they're really comfortable execs with a sporty side, not sports cars, great engine and good allround car but if you want a dynamically sportier car then the C63 really is not the right car to start with, all IMO of course

While you are there search other threads by Palmball. He did more mods to his C63 than anyone else I know.
Personally I wouldn't bother. The C63 is what it is. A massive, torquey engine in a small body with skinny rear tyres. Just revel and enjoy it in all its magnificent sidewaysness.
