ABS and ESR lights on C240

Been looking at this C240 on eBay:

It looks great but has a couple of issues. The borked cruise is not a major issue, but the ABS and ESR lights are more of a worry. Could anybody shed any light (no pun intended) on what the issue could be?

Usual suspect for Esp/Bas light coming on is the brake light switch is faulty. Easy enough to replace & switch is cheap to buy. (don't be fooled by the brake lights working as this switch has several functions & usually 2 connector plugs, so usually the brake lights will still work).
However the only way to be 100% certain would be to plug the car onto diagnostics to get the exact reason why the light(s) are on.

Can't view the ebay link at work, but if the cruise is not working either, it's more likely to be a wheel speed sensor fault.
