could anybody in the know tell me what the difference between this in the standard spec is - also what are the main differences between the cars up to early 2011 and from then on aprat from the plate obviously

In the markey for one of those possibly next year - question is is the ediction or the newer car worth the higher tag - at the moment there is about 10 k difference?

You are not telling me something like a state of the art audio and navigation sytem is extra on a 60 K car
then I need to rephrase my question - what spec to watch out for when looking for a used one - they all have "full spec" in the ads but what to look out for especially - and I m not sure what apart from the steering wheel in the command changed with the 2011 facelift....

Harmon Kardon is a nice upgrade and the DAB is essential if you listen to the radio a lot. They are pretty well specced as standard unlike some others - Audi especially having just looked at the new RS4 brochure.PP plus cars will have painted calipers and alcantara wheel and add 30hp.Wont necessarily have an LSD though on this year of car.I would definitely go for the facelifted 125 version or later - the cabin is a nicer place to be IMO.

Thnaks very helpful - not sure if the 30 hp make all the difference with that sort of power- same amounts for the top speed liftup- however do like a nice cabin and sound- what about the air con - is the standard ok or does one need luxury (these new cars and most of them have black leather can get quite hot?)

You do notice the difference in pick-up between a standard & a PPP car. Although not a fan of the red calipers (at my age!) It is still worth it if you can negotiate a price you are comfortable with.

There are two types of climate in these. Standard and luxury. The only difference is the luxury is four zone with individually adjustable temps. The aircon 'power' is the same.

Aah . . . Does that explain the only pic I have yet seen of a C63's rear climate control with a digital readout, placed at the rear of the centre armrest? Or maybe aftermarket?

OK same as im my CLS, then-
amazing that 30 hp seem to make a difference, then - possibly going for a test drive first - the 11 onwards cars command quite a premium at the mo anyway must see how this will be next year...
Not sure I have seen a lot with performance pack on offer yet

Ideally and if logistics allow try to test a standard car followed by a PPP car. I imagine the torque curve is altered in such a way as to make it more noticeable on a PPP car similar to a tuners remap I guess.
