ML500 & ML55 - Interesting, or stay away?
Discussion
Hi All,
Saw one of these at the weekend - black, badged as ML500, but seemed to have nice amg wheels and privacy glass (all tasteful) that would suggest this could have been an ML55. The car actually looked quite smart, and one would presume it performs well, whether or not it is was the 5.0 or 5.5.
Looking at used values for an 04 car, it seems these are quite reasonable in comparison to the top end of LR (S/C) and BMW (4.6/4.8is)
I am aware that early ML's had a few issues, and some research suggests they are not quite as 'sure footed?' as an RR or X5? but is there anything to be watched for on the later 500's and ML55? Is there anything other than the fuel cost that leads to these being quite reasonable as a used buy at present?
Thanks in advance all,
Matt
