2005 CLK 320 Avantgarde - Rough value?

As it happens I have managed to somehow end up with a 2005 CLK 320 Avantgarde in my posession and will be advertising it shortly for sale.

Now it's not something I'd really have much interest in, and if I'm honest I have literally no idea what it's worth. It's been sitting up for nearly two years, with the MOT running out in 2011. It's also long out of tax as well.

As far as I know the car is in great condition, apart from the expected moss and mould. It shouldn't need much to go through the test, if anything bar a service. As it stands I've literally no idea what miles are on the car but I'm told they're under 70k.

Can anyone give me a rough idea as to what this car is worth as it sits? And not only that, anything I should look out for when it comes to this?

Apologies for the random post but this really isn't my area and any help would be appreciated, cheers. I'm in N.I by the way, and the car is N.I reg and HPI clear.

You could always look at Autotrader or something. That's what anyone else to reply to your post would do.

Yes because there are loads of 2005 CLK's advertised in N.I lying up 2 years and out of tax and test.

And Autotrader is also full of information on what to look out for with them, common problems and that.

Well given you have no plans to MOT or tax it (something which wasn't clear from your first post), then any buyer will have to trailer it away, and may well have to factor in a ferry, and a trailer rental.

You might be lucky, and find someone local, but if not, then £500.

Put it on ebay with no reserve . it's market value will be realised .
