R129 Front Discs Question

1997,SL320.Time to replace the front discs and pads.For years(on all my cars)I have been using 20 groove discs supplied by Red-Dot engineering.Trouble is they no longer supply parts anymore.
Simple question,any recommendations of sports grooved discs? is it worth the extra expense,shall I just stick to standard discs and pads.What about GSF&Euro??

Hello , I always use Brembo discs and pagid pads available at reasonable cost from GSF ; never been a problem with either .

Merc discs and pads are really high quality and not especially expensive. From memory there are some half price NOS discs at euromercmercedesparts.co.uk
