C63 Servicing - North Hertfordshire

Any suggestions for servicing of C63s in the North Herts area. I know my Dad has used Herts Merx in the past.

Any other suggestions? How amenable are MB dealers to matching independent servicing costs?

I was considering renewing my warranty but Mondial Assurance, who replied to my enquiry (I assume they coordinate it) want between £3500 and £5800+ depending on what Tier MB warranty I plump for, and what excess.... !!!! Don't think I'll bother...

Don't use the main dealer that services the CM23 area. In the Herts area I have used an independent named AllKlasse...see the 'specialists' sticky for details. They are not always cheaper than main dealers but they are better than some...

I personally use Waterhouse Braintree for servicing; a main dealer who puts the customer first. The workshop manager, Nigel, also manages Chelmsford, so if you are nearer to them, you should get decent service there too

We used Herts Merx once and they did a good job. I really rate the main dealer in Hertford though, very polite and courteous service. Can't fault them in any way and prices aren't too bad either. Given a C63 is still a relatively new car I'd be inclined to take it there.
