63AMG plated 63AMGs

6 months to go until the 63 plate comes out. I see DVLA arent selling them yet, as per, but im wondering if maybe Merc will buy the lot up for resale to their deeper pocketed customers.

The DVLA will keep the more attractive registrations for auction. I watched SL55 AMG go for in excess of £30K (before taxes and fees) at an auction a few years ago…

Whilst not one of the set mentioned by the OP, my wife and I spotted a C63 AMG in Sheffield carrying the plate "C63 AMG" ...

I did look for that on the DVLA list and it said it wasnt a registered plate. Might it have been a show plate on a demo?

It is a real plate.

Looks like its on a 125 edition, 2011 C63 Saloon in white. Dunno why the search didnt work before.
