So....... what are your thoughts!!??

How is the beast?! I picked mine up the same day - and I have a grin on my face "like a Cheshire Cat" every time I fire her up!

Amazing "presence" and a special feeling when driving it - though I am still in the "honeymoon period" as it were!

Kind regards

M

I'm loving it smile I've not really had a chance to stretch its legs properly yet but its got a few hundred miles under its belt now so I don't feel bad giving it some beans. I'm really impressed with combination of around town refinement and ride quality and body control at speed on the twisties. That engine is just epic and the gearbox is much more responsive than I expected. I'm chuffed to bits! biggrin

It seems to get more attention than the Z4 Coupe which surprised me since to most people it's just another Merc saloon surely? I guess it's down to the noise. Oh the noise! biggrin

Some more pics:

Really missing mine - currently driving a CLS63 and it's nowhere near as much fun, or loud!! smile

Technically I'm picking mine up tomorrow. Been in the bodyshop for 3 weeks and its finally ready. Excitement is a bit muted by the weather forecast though.

I haven't had a chance to use it really. Picked it up from Wolverhampton mb after a thorough handover and drove it to brum - a tot of about 8 miles. My wife has driven it a few times and commented the indicator stalk is in the wrong position compared to the e class ie she hits the cruise bottom when she means to hit the indicator (I think anyway).

Oh, and she doesn't like the start up as it attracts too much attention in the car park. We've done a grand total of 50 miles since we've had it and I noticed the tank is only just over half full! My e class does that to a gallon but you don't get the sound and what a glorious sound it is.

Picked it up this morning. Had it since Jan 19th but its been away 5 of the 12 weeks ive owned it. Its like a new car now. Thanks to MG Cannon bodyshop of Salisbury for a fantastic job done. Super-professional and extremely thorough:

Yeah, Shaign said its a massive job. He's got 3 x 13 plate C63's in there for major repair work currently. New car drivers possibly being a little over-zealous?

Could possibly be; good it's keeping the bodyshop busy! hehe

My mate was stationary at the time he got smacked by a van though!

Pure bad luck there! Sounds like he got a good deal though.
