Anyone taken delivery of a new shape e class sport
Discussion
We're running a couple as demos and have delivered one so far.
I've not driven it yet, but one of the guys took the 350BlueTEC Sport Estate to Cornwall for the Easter Break. He always runs a 350 Estate and he said it felt a lot more refined than the old car - it was a little bit more economical too.

I was told that the only engine available to order was the 220 up until last week when the E63 engine was available. When do you get your E63 demos, Matt?

You can order any engine, but the customer spec 350's aren't being built until June/July and even then with restricted options! When do you get your E63 demos, Matt?
We should get a 63 demo in the next couple of weeks, ironically I've got a customer E63 coming before any 350cdi's!

;)
Are they doing good pcp deals on the new shape estate or is it for the run out old model? I think the main site runs flash for the deals and I can't view them on the iPad. Which given the amount of pad user out there seems a daft thing to 'block out' that potential customer base, or is jut me?

There's still a finance campaign on the new model, the APR isn't quite as low as on the run-out model, but the new one has got a better residual so the payments look pretty good. I see you live on the south coast - drop me a PM my dealer is in that part of the world!

No E63 Coupe/Cab I'm afraid!
Why not? There will be a c63 cab at some point in the not too distant future.

Not entirely sure. The coupe and cab are based on the c-class chassis, not the e like the name suggests, so perhaps they have issues packaging them together.

But the engine is in the front, so no issues with space where the roof goes. Maybe its a lack of anticipated demand? Funny, because its competitors do sooped-up 4-seater convertibles (M3, M6, RS4, RS5).There will be a c63 cab at some point in the not too distant future.

I've been given a mid June build slot for my E63 Estate. Was really hoping for an earlier build. But told this is the earliest customer estate build possible. Seems a long way off to me.

When the new C-Class comes out, it'll also have a coupe and cabriolet version, then it'll come with a 63 (or whatever they decide to call it at the time). The CLK 63 Cabriolet wasn't that well recieved, so perhaps they were using that as a benchmark when deciding on the E-Coupe/Cab.
