Info taken from CarScoops:
The “Edition 507” - available for the Saloon, Estate and Coupé -, brings not only additional customizing options, but also a power boost of 50 PS (49 HP), increasing the 6.3-liter V8 engine’s output to 507 PS (500 HP) and 610 Nm (450 lb-ft) of torque. This upgrade includes technology from the SLS AMG – namely the forged pistons, connecting rods and lightweight crankshaft.

The power boost is naturally translated into better performance, with the C 63 AMG Edition 507 being two-tenths of a second faster than the base model. 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) is done in 4.2 seconds (for the Saloon or Coupé) and in 4.3 seconds (for the Estate). Top speed of all body styles is 280 km/h (174 mph), with the AMG Driver’s package offered as standard and a voucher for a driver-training course at the AMG Driving Academy. The C 63 AMG Edition 507 is fitted as standard with an AMG high-performance composite brake system with red callipers. Sales of the C63 AMG Edition 507 begin in June, with prices starting from €83,835.50 ($109,290) for the Saloon (€85,085 for the Coupé and €86,394 for the Estate).

At an exchange rate of €1.15 to £1 the Saloon will cost £72,900, the Coupe £73,987 and the Estate £75,125.

Wonder if they get the LSD as standard?

As for the output hikes, the same gains can also be had from a simple remap whistle

Still a nice bot of kit, mind you. Wonder how well it will hold its value compared with a standard C63?

A Special Edition, yes, but not exclusive enough or rare enough to be depreciation proof...it's no Black Series

Buy it and keep it will be the best way of softening the blow, sell it within a year or two and it will hurt.

Same engine as the PP+ going on the spec isnt it? A few PP+ owners have seen over 500bhp as standard so is this 507 going to be more like 530, or more?

I bet it's the same engine as the PP+....there would be no discernible difference between a car with bhp figure a tick above or below 500bhp! My C63 was the one that dyno'd at 507bhp in standard tune....which is remarkably similar to the 507 edition! Saying this, that really is a coincidence as I can't imagine any dyno being that accurate.

Youre not the only PP+ owner to have seen over 500bhp on a dyno. Ive seen a few more on mbworld.com with similar claims. Its certainly quicker than my E61 M5.

Sorry, meant to phrase it as mine was 'one of the ones that dyno'd over 500bhp' wink

Anyway, if a standard one is 450bhp ish then a PPP is definitely over 500bhp - I owned both back to back and the PP difference was extremely noticeable so Merc have definitely underplayed the output of that (to protect other models no doubt).

Saying all of that, when I then had an E63 (a 212 before it got the bi-turbo) for a day, that was perceptibly freer revving at the top end than my C63PPP. Whether it was quicker I couldn't say (the margin would be so slim anyway) but it certainly felt quicker.

When the new C63 et al are launched with turbo engines, it's going to be carnage smile Tuned mid-sized saloons will enter a different performance league.

For reference my std C63 dyno'd at 455bhp standard (with 2500 miles on the clock). Apparently once Eurocharged they increase to 507bhp, but of course I wouldn't know this whistle
