Hi All,

Drove to Germany last Sunday and all is well until yesterday when a Malfunction message displayed with the image of the car and an upward pointing arrow.
Handbook says Air suspension 'Go to Specialist' etc.
Being in the home of MB I know that there are at least 2 dealers nearby but just wondered if there is a known problem.

Any advise welcome. Thanks.

It could be anything really. When my E500 had this message, it was a solenoid on the front strut. Unfortunately, it needed a whole new strut at about £1,200 all in at an indy.

It could just be a weak compressor which is not too expensive and easily replaced.

When my strut went, the ride made an Audi S-Line feel wallowy by comparison.

OK thanks, think I'll nip out to a local dealer and ask for a diagnostics check.
Cant feel any difference in the ride but did hear the compressor running this morning so maybe as you say or a leak.
Cheers.
