r129 15 hole wheel refurb

hi Quick question if anyone can help.

any ideas the orginal paint code for the 15 whole classic Alloys - 1990 500SL r129. same as was fitted to w124s.

tempted to say Astral Silver?
any one know for sure?

I waas going to say 744 Brilliant Silver, but I don't think it was around in the early nineties. I'm fairly sure the later wheels are that colour though.

that was a later colour introduced about 1994 i think.
astral silver was main silver colour for mercedes for r107 sl's and the first couple of years for the r129.
as it happens my car is astral silver, just cant decide if the wheels are that same colour

someone must know as it shared the same wheels as all the merc range of that era...
