I have owned a number of AMGs and still have a couple, but have never actually gone to the AMG facility in Germany. Was thinking of making a trip there, but wanted to know what to expect and if it is worth going. Anyone been?
Also, is there a cost for entering or as an existing AMG owner is it complementary? How do I go about arranging it?
Any and all advice/experiences/tips would be appreciated.
Would like to drive there and back again, bring one of the stable back to their birth place!

I went last year with a few TVR pals while we were touring Germany. It was very good. You have to email their customer support department and arrange a mutual time. They will only entertain you if you have an AMG but they let me take a party of seven others. They ask for your VIN to id you.
The guide who took us round spoke really good english and was a lot of fun. The factory is something special and worth seeing. A nice touch was they put up the Union Jack for us while we were on visit.
