Mercedes CL class

Just a quick question - is the CL really a proper 4 seater coupe, i.e. could 4 adults travel in it for a reasonable distance in comfort?

You don't say which one but I had a 2003 W215 CL until April of this year and my mother-in-law thought there was more headroom in the back than in their CLS. Loads of room and they were happy to sit in the back for long journeys (including several from north Lincolnshire to London)

We now have a 2009 W216 CL and that is just as spacious.

In short yes, four adults can travel in comfort.

that's great thanks, looking at 2007 to 2010 cars. I have a CLS at present but have the opportunity to upgrade shortly and was thinking of the CLS 63 then stumbled across the CL and like the look of either the 63 or the 500 but it would be pointless getting excited over them if they couldn't seat 4 adults.
