Guys I need guidance on this. I am looking at a 2003 Sl600. I love the look and who can turn down a supercharged V12?
Problem with this is I am new to Mercedes and especially these.
Any experience or advise on what to look for, pitfalls or just how great it is would really help my decision. Being from a TVR, Ferrari previous fleet I like my power.

Thanks in advance

I think they might be turbocharged but am happy to be corrected.

Not driven one but I've been for a ride in one - very fast, extremely smooth and plush. However, if you google a few threads, the R230 can be prone to faults e.g. suspension struts, roof mechanisms, the odd leak. Worth having a look on this forum but here's one to get you started:

Sure you don't want my 2007 CLK63 AMG cabrio instead? Just starting to think about selling it but not advertised yet.

And another for you:

Different engines but I would imagine the suspension and most of the stuff that goes wrong (other than specific engine faults obviously) will be the same regardless of whether it's a 350 or a 600.

The SL600 IS a Biturbo, I know I have 2!
If you get the reg number I will Hpi it to clarify what it is.
My advice would only to buy a Well cared for example!!
