It was easy in my M5, just a simple flick of a switch. Does the pre facelift C63 have the same function or is it some crazy dealer job for no reason?

Ive taken the covers off the light units and cannot see anything that looks like a switch and the manual says to see your dealer????7

There is a little spring loaded lever inside once you take the bulb cover off - I only ever did the passenger side one.

The manual says take it to a dealer, but you can do it yourself.

Stick your finger in and have a fumble.

Thanks mate. After reading your post i used a mirror and think ive found it. Is it the plastic white one that moves in an up or down position? If you push it up or down you get a click, but the switch itself doesn't stay in place. Is this the one? Which way do you push it for Europe?

That's it - spring loaded so it always goes back into the central position.

I just push it until it clicks - it will only click once so if you keep pushing it in that same direction it will not click/ change again.

I always did it with the lights on at night against a wall so see the beam change.

I wore rubber gloves though to avoid an electric shock!

Cool. At least its the right one. So is it push up for UK or up for Europe / down for UK or down for Europe?

Don't know, just move it until it clicks - the click signifies the shutter moving.

If it is already set to UK and you push it in the UK direction then no click will be heard.

What do you need to remove the bulb cover?

Any chance of a cheeky photo? I'm pretty terribly at this sort of stuff and was actually just about to post the same question on mb club!

Nowt, simply twist to unscrew the large round cover on the back of the unit.
