clk200 w208 2001/2002

Would a clk200 w208 from one of these years be ok for commuting 60 miles a day? And roughly doing around 15k miles a year?

I know they suffer rust problems, but I think if its rust free and a good example with about 100k on the clock with fsh it should be ok for the daily commute?

which models suffer rust? What else is there to look out for?

They ALL rust - check under and round the arches, the ends of the panels and doors. Non galvanized, recycled steel isn't the best stuff to make cars out of and using underseal and primer that don't adhere to the metal ain't going to do any good at all.
