CLS 63 AMG Question

hi all, I currently drive a 2005 CLS 500 and I am considering trading up to a CLS 63. I can, from browsing find a really top end 219 (old shape) for circa 30K or a good "entry level" new shape for about £50K - so, depreciation aside, is the new model worth it - anyone driven both?
