I always use Brakes International in Rochdale 01706 666999 (from memory). They've never let me down. They'll be about £70 each I bet.

Is this right...?

http://brakeparts.co.uk/#page=parts&pageSectio...

The discs appear to run through from 02 onwards.

I just picked some up for my clk 55. Email these guys and they can put you on to their UK importer. they are the only people who make them for mine other than MB. (340 x 32) Mine were a shade over £850 a pair landed in the UK. Not cheap but they do look good quality. Not fitted them yet though...

Two piece cost the money sadly. The same model the year before and again two years after I could have used the substantially cheaper one piece.

The 340 x 32 is a very odd size it turns out, hopefully the op will have better luck with his 360's, they are a bit more common.

Had some more prices back, MB stoke £668.00 each, Europarts OEM £545.00 each Also Black Diamond & EBC list them
for around £240.00 each, But I think these are only one piece.

If you scroll down this page http://www.racingbrake.com/C32-CLK55-AMG-FRONT-p/2... it infers that

C32 AMG (W203) 02-04
C55 AMG (W203) 05-06
CLK500 (W209) 03-09
CLK550 (W209) 04-09
CLK55 AMG (W209) 03-04

has the same one piece disk ( with a 1mm difference ) and disks for the above cars are circa £50 rather than £850 for 2 two piece disks

Needs checking but just a thought

If they are two piece then they are different from the earlier cars. I have just bought all the bits to do mine before selling the car and they are 1-piece and were about £80 each.

Yes Definetley 2 piece Ben, Look like Alloy bells with cast iron rotors
attached by small 8mm head size nut's & bolts through steel clips.

They are 360mm though So could be worth trying one piece discs on.

Eurocarparts came back to me today £545.00 each going off my reg No.

I know this does not help but quite good that they are 2-piece, having felt the weight of the one piece item I am semi surprised the car has enough power to rotate the wheels, they weight a tonne.

As long as the bell is the same no need for the earlier part not to fit I suppose, but then again if they did it would surely be more widely known on the forums.

Actually isn't another benefit of a 2-piece that you only have to change the friction surface not the bell so should be cheaper?

It's quite a tricky area as they changed discs very frequently among models even from year to year. In the US it was different too and then there was an AMG upgrade package option to confuse things further.

Eurocarparts failed to obtain stock when I tried ordering from them (it still says 7-14 days lead). I imagine my 30% off voucher might have contributed to their non-availability though.

RE: the 1mm difference. I read someone on a MB forum had done this with a spacer but I was not willing to mess about in the area of breaking.

They are going on tomorrow morning so I shall keep you posted.

The bell becomes 'welded' to the disk over time and cannot be removed easily. The earlier disks are one piece with the 'bell' being cast into them. I think (please correct me if wrong) that the new disks come with bell too.

The one piece items will fit your car. If the car really was fitted with one pieces early in its life, there is an argument for saying that you could justifiably fit them to your car...
