I was never happy with the oem plastic rear diffuser that is fitted to our C63s. Given what the car is i'd have thought they might have done more with the back end, like some other manufacturers do. My car is a 2010 PP+ so already has a carbon boot spoiler but with the plastic diffuser sat below it i always thought the back end was a bit of a low rent.

Today arrived this: OEM replacement carbon diffuser from Phil at Rebellion Automotive. It weighs next to nothing which felt odd, but its stiff as a board and very well made. The fitting was really easy too. Its a one person job if you have bendy fingers and the item even retains the original mounting points so long as you have a few screws to replace the rivets. Thanks to Phil for bringing it from Waterlooville to my work in Bournemouth too.

As it came:

Old vs new:

Half hour to fit and its on:

Looks great, Phil does tryh to go the extra mile. He has some interesting plans for my car and the rear diffuser is something else I would like.

Think I might opt for the front splitter now ive got the rear on. Hes got a couple of options for me to choose from. I hear a supercharger is on the cards from Rebellion in the future.

Looks good mate, what are the front ones like?

See if you can haggle a deal on a group Tune, quite like the idea of their Plug in Tune Box.

Youll have to ask Phil at Rebellion. Prices differ between facelift and non facelift.

Seems kind of pricy for a slightly different looking bit around the exhaust.

Does it make that much difference to the overall appearance?

???? Did you read the post? Note the word tune. Lol

Rear diffuser is £499 for pre facelift and £599 for facelift. Yes its pricey for a bit of trim but the fit is perfect and quality is immaculate. Up to you if you want to or not.

I like the look of that...a lot. I was already considering calling Phil to give the interior a Carbon makeover and I think this may have to go on the shopping list.

I can speak to Phil when I'm back from my trip this week. Also, you should check out the Wortec C63 exhaust. Not advertising, simply a suggestion.

Does sound tempting.
