Anyone own or have owned a W203 coupe??

I'm considering an early one for my 12 mile daily commute into the office. I have a £2k budget and I now see early examples are hitting this prices.

What are peps thoughts on them??? Ideally I'm looking are econmical commute so I guess the 1.8 would be fine. Are they juicey for a 1.8????

I'll look out for FSH and a decent example but a heads up from other owners would be helpful
