Mercedes SL Day Shropshire
Discussion
I am taking my diseasel to the w124 day. I think Derin is going, too.
My experience of these Merc Club events--I have been to a National Day and a couple of SL Days--is positive but mixed. There is some serious weird as well as the more generally appreciated beard, but everyone seems friendly enough and united by a perverse love of all things Mercedes. I enjoyed it more when I went with a like-minded friend than alone. This time I'm going with my 2.5yr old son. Anyway, feel free to button hole me: my estate car is smoke silver, L482 LVV.

Sadly local events to myself have ''stuttered'' of late due to organisation. Some upset local members.
I am trying to decide about going to the W124 day. Technically the entry date has passed - but there is an opening. What they are not coming back to me on though is parking. Is it on site - or back at the Lake ? If its not too sunny I would bring the dogs rather than leaving them with a dog sitter. But is equally dependent on parking arrangements. My query is being bounced around the organisers.
I would expect Nev Wright will be there - nearer to you than me, R129. Nobody will have a cleaner 124 than Nev - and a top bloke.
