2006 E series for £3500

Is it possible?

only criterea: Estate, diesel not that bothered about miles but want less than 200k not fussed on engine capacity.

been scouring the ads (PH, gum, AT) for a bit now & even the auctions but starting to think its not possible, got a few highlighted on ebay auctions at the mo that may come within reach.

anyone got any other ideas? will the end of summer see prices drop a little?

You are almost there. Last night I was at Kinross Motor Auction (Scotland)
2006 E220CDI estate MOT till 03/14, no tax with 178K in dark blue with half leather trim, hammer down £2945, on top of that you have some auction fees but out of the door this car should be just over or around £3300. So it is possible, but not too many around.

I got £3600 for my 07 E220 as part ex.

It did have 460k on it though.

if not, I'm thinking possibly the C270cdi of same era, drove the e-class the other day & really liked it, but does the C class have the same feel only smaller? the e-class struck me as very similar in feel (except power) to an SL55 we had for a bit, it got me wondering if the DNA passes down as far as the C?
