I love it. I've had lots of M Cars amongst other and consider myself more of a BMW than Mercedes man but after driving this I finally 'get' the AMG thing. In normal driving, which is 95% of the time really, it's more fun and practical than the M Cars I've had.

I recently tried to sell it as I'd been offered a cracking deal on a C63 but after probably 6 weeks, and actually 'selling' it 3 times, no one actually turned up with the money - they all just dropped off the face of the planet.

In the end I just decided keep it and maybe get the second cats removed smile

Lots of pics from the sale here if you're interested

Was looking at these before I bought my Cayenne Turbo. In fact, think I saw the ad for your one Phil, from a couple of owners previous. Chap called Richard sold it on to another bloke called John.

Still wondering if I made the right choice mind you. Perhaps a swap? wink

I love Cayenne Turbo's, they're bonkers.

I've had a Range Rover V8 and a 911 and I've always assumed they are a combination of the 2. How are you finding it?

Cheers!

It's fantastic. Just big. hehe

Can get 300 from a tank. Though only done 1500 miles since I got it in June. Needs new rear tyres, but otherwise all good.

What wheels have you got on it - I would imagine 20's are a bit expensive!

What sort of MPG are you getting - I get about 23-24 MPG out of the C55 which doesn't bother me as much as the small tank!

Any other problems or are they generally good?

Phil

That is spot on mate smile

A C55 is certainly on my list of future family cars...though it does seem a lot of my list are super rare [Mazda 6MPS, Subaru Forester STi and C55]! It'll all depend on my budget in the next few years and how far I'm living from work [at the mo my commute is 40 miles each way so a 25mpg V8 would be a bit of a struggle - though I really don't want a diesel].

Just checked the MPG - 13.6! See around 21 on the motorway though.

Tyres are £250 a pop.

Where abouts in Kent are you?

I'm a few miles outside Ashford, not far from J10 of the M20.

Bug - I use mine as a daily, life is too short for diesel :-)

Give me a shout if you fancy meeting up for a beer sometime Luke and you can have a go in the '55 and see what you think.

I think there is only about 129 on the road. There are a couple of other owners on the Mercedes specific forums I think but I've never seen another one on the road.

Cheers,

Phil

The best all round car I have ever owned, as long as you don't count fuel economy as a high priority - good at transporting the family, good at taking stuff to the dump and very good at this.... biggrin
