Any C55 owners???
Discussion
I love it. I've had lots of M Cars amongst other and consider myself more of a BMW than Mercedes man but after driving this I finally 'get' the AMG thing. In normal driving, which is 95% of the time really, it's more fun and practical than the M Cars I've had.
I recently tried to sell it as I'd been offered a cracking deal on a C63 but after probably 6 weeks, and actually 'selling' it 3 times, no one actually turned up with the money - they all just dropped off the face of the planet.
In the end I just decided keep it and maybe get the second cats removed

Was looking at these before I bought my Cayenne Turbo. In fact, think I saw the ad for your one Phil, from a couple of owners previous. Chap called Richard sold it on to another bloke called John. I recently tried to sell it as I'd been offered a cracking deal on a C63 but after probably 6 weeks, and actually 'selling' it 3 times, no one actually turned up with the money - they all just dropped off the face of the planet.

Still wondering if I made the right choice mind you. Perhaps a swap?

I love Cayenne Turbo's, they're bonkers.
I've had a Range Rover V8 and a 911 and I've always assumed they are a combination of the 2. How are you finding it?
Cheers!

It's fantastic. Just big. I've had a Range Rover V8 and a 911 and I've always assumed they are a combination of the 2. How are you finding it?

Can get 300 from a tank. Though only done 1500 miles since I got it in June. Needs new rear tyres, but otherwise all good.

A C55 is certainly on my list of future family cars...though it does seem a lot of my list are super rare [Mazda 6MPS, Subaru Forester STi and C55]! It'll all depend on my budget in the next few years and how far I'm living from work [at the mo my commute is 40 miles each way so a 25mpg V8 would be a bit of a struggle - though I really don't want a diesel].

What wheels have you got on it - I would imagine 20's are a bit expensive!
What sort of MPG are you getting - I get about 23-24 MPG out of the C55 which doesn't bother me as much as the small tank!
Any other problems or are they generally good?
Phil
Just checked the MPG - 13.6! See around 21 on the motorway though. What sort of MPG are you getting - I get about 23-24 MPG out of the C55 which doesn't bother me as much as the small tank!

Tyres are £250 a pop.
Where abouts in Kent are you?
