rear tyres scrubbing?
Discussion
Hi
Bit of a tough one to describe but I have noticed with my 1400 miles C63 coupe what I would describe as scrubbing when taking a tight turn - not necessarily full lock but near to it, into say a side road - not at any speed, generally at rolling speed. My RS4 used to do this when reversing out of my drive when it was cold but this is different.
I was wondering if it was something to do with the LSD that is fitted (which needs it running in oil change soon).
Anyone - bit of a tough one i know but perhaps someone else has experienced this?
Dunc

Brings back memories of the noisy LSD in the E46 M3. Sorted by using a special friction modified diff oil and then a series of figure of 8 turns in a parking lot!!
I believe these clutch pack types of locking diff need a special running in formulation of diff oil from the factory - hence the importance of the early diff oil change. The oil has probably just done its job "running in" your diff and is due for a change, be very surprised if this does not fix it
