Hi all

I need to order a new car for delivery in April, currently have an E63 estate curtesy of MB Corporate for the weekend. To test. Awesome car.

Anyone come across good PCP deals on these at the moment? I know back in July people were picking these up for ~£500 PCM!

I know M5s have silly deals on at the moment, but kind of have my heart set on E63

Cheers

Michael

Be careful with these. I signed up with a broker back in march for July delivery for an E63 estate and the car never showed up. It was pushed back several times and when it got pushed to next March I cancelled.
I'd have loved to take delivery of it but there's only so long I can wait. Now though I will only go through a main dealer.

Exact thing happened to me with a broker on a 640d, never even got a delivery date.
Broker tried to enforce his source and supply contract as well when I cancelled after waiting for a delivery date for 4 months! I just asked him to show me the car or even build slot he'd sourced. I even spoke to the BMW dealer he'd been using who then put a shot across his bows as they were quite happy to cancel.

Sounds like best to stick with dealers, just need to find the best deal with dealers

Is that freedom contracts? If so they do seem to have some good deals, although varying reviews

I'd be very surprised if they could get you one before March.

I got mine through the business development department of Mercedes Manchester on one of the very cheap personal lease deals earlier this year. I've passed on the details of my contact to several PHers. She'll let you know what the best available deals are and was great in keeping me updated with delivery.

The lease brokers just get their cars through main dealers and the prices they quote are just those that are readily available from the business Development department of dealers. Getting to speak to someone in that department directly is the hard part.

Got figures from Claire and am awaiting numbers from Mercedes corporate

Currently E63 against a similar spec M5 is working out £5k more in deposit with the same monthly payments, which is difficult to justify

Seems BMW have kept their campaigns similar Q2-Q4, Mercedes have gone up significantly from when you got yours Jack and Audi are just having a laugh (£30k deposit, then same per month as M5, E63)

Are you looking at PCP's or straight lease?

If you have no interest in owning after 2/3 years then surely the straight lease deals (3x23 - type deal)? would work out cheaper?

It seems PCP on deposit +36 months works out the best currently, but even at £600 pm your looking at a £9k deposit, which is £5k more than a similar spec M5

I think you managed to hit the finance sweet spot with yours, as deals are no where near that good now
