Slk safety restraint system error

Hi I have this error staying on all the time on my 2006 slk it's never been a bump any ideas how to get rid it's getting annoying now many thanks

You need to get it code read then the fault memory erased provided the srs fault isn't current. If it is then you'll have to get the current fault repaired 1st.

had that on my 05 slk350 years ago and it was the steering wheel clock spring done under warranty. something to do with the air bag.
