Hi,
We're probably going to have to pull the trigger on a new A class for my wife. Quick question, what sort of discounts should I be pushing for?
Thanks

Very little really, if you take a pcp there's 3 years free servicing (which costs the dealer £400); above that I guess the best you would get is about another £500.

They've got a reduced margin and stock is limited to say the least.

Yeah, MatC's note matches my experience. We got the free servicing and about a grand off the list price. Good price for our trade-in though.

Have you looked at what brokers such as drivethedeal and broadspeed are offering? This should give you a good indication of what level of discount is available.

They're typically lower than what's available in the dealer network, as brokers aren't being offered the 'across the board' discounts on a-class. Most dealers are back to good old fashioned negotiating on a per deal basis with them.
