The used car warranty of my SLK55 is up for renewal. Mercedes want nearly £1300 for the full tier 1. Has anybody negotiated a lower price with them or is it fixed in stone?
I believe it's underwritten by Mondial for Mercedes.
Can anybody recommend an alternative product which they have had good dealings with??

Mine is due in Jan too. When i had my BMW M5 and tier 1 with Mondial it was £80/month. Bargain. Seems the prices have shot up across the board now. They want £130/month on the C63 when it renews.

Good thing is Merc seem to be a bit more reliable than the //M cars so i'm just going to plump for a slush fund.

Yeah it's £130 per month for me as well. I coughed when I paid Porsche £900 per year I now realise that was a bargain.

60k is first covered price increase i think and then 100k is where cover drops off to named part.
