211 Estate Tailgate Gas Struts

I've had a poke about on MB Club but is there anyone on here with instructions to change the struts as I am sick of banging my head on the tailgate?

My specialist has quoted four hours labour and £85 per side. I can get struts cheaper than that and I understand that it is possible to do without dropping the whole headlining which shortens the time considerably.
